It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Ruth Haggett announce her passing on February 27, 2025, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate at the age of 76.

Betty is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Fanny Haggett, her late husband Claude Lambert, her common law spouse Cecil Stuckey, her brothers Harvey (Livey), and Willis, her sisters Triffie (William) and Louise, and her brother-in-law Angus.

Left to mourn with precious memories are her children Thomas (Lorraine), Charles, Kathleen (Wade), and Russell (Tiffany), her step children Jeff (Marg) and Derrick (Carol), her grandchildren Pamela (Greg), Wayne (Jennifer), Darren, Lorne (Sarah), Lenore (Gavin), Jamie, Daymond, Grayson, Preston, Harriett, and Dwight (Kylie), her great grand children Kaiden, Sophia, Chloe, Skylar, Erin, Cecila, Felicia, Shanyla, and Ethan; her sisters Mae (Austin), Evelyn, and Bernice (Richard), brother Arthur (Geralda) and her brother in law Kevin (Janice) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to Mom’s Home Care Workers Rona Borden, Sara Curtis, Melissa Pelley, Wanda Gillard, and Kayla Burt and to the staff of the Long-Term Care Unit, Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate who took such loving care of Mom while she lived there.
