Obituary of Roland Churchill

It is with great sadness that the family of Fredrick “Roland” Churchill announce his passing on March 24th at his residence in Durrell, at the age of 86. Roland is predeceased by his parents: Augustus and Ida Churchill, sisters Joan, Elizabeth (Leslie) Anstey, and Eleanor (Boyce) Sacrey, brothers William (Louise) Churchill, and Thomas Churchill, and brother-in-law Edgar Burton. Roland leaves with fond and loving memories his daughter Kimberley (Neil), his granddaughter Lacey (Bradley), his precious great grandchildren Avaiah and Calder, his sisters Phyllis (Sidney) Sacrey, Margaret Burton and Audrey, brother in law Martin Clarke, his friend and trouting buddy Cory Lewis, and his good friends Neville Anstey and Bruce Legge, not to be forgotten, his furry friends Lucie, Suzi and Dori as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends. A heartful thank you to Jane Bath and Dr. Chad Petten of Community Health Services, Twillingate, who took such loving care of Dad, your thoughtfulness and compassion will not be forgotten. As per the family's wishes there will be a private visitation by invite only. Donations in Roland's memory may be given to the St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery Fund or to St. Peter's Anglican Church.
