Obituary of Tony Garfield Clarke

It is with great sadness that the family of Tony Clarke announce his passing on April 8, 2025, at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander at the age of 59. Tony is predeceased by his father, Douglas Clarke, grandparents Roland and Hilda Clarke, Ralph and Minnie Pearce. Tony leaves with fond and loving memories his wife Mary; children and step-children Brent (Marah), Meagan (Jordan), Ashley (David), Tim (Angel), Shane, grandchildren Malia, Benny, Layla, Beckham, Emerson, his mother Verna, his brother Faron (Carolyn), his brothers in law Paul (Michelle), Raymond (Jackie) as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and a wide circle of friends. Tony was passionate about life, loved being with his family, and loved to talk about and to watch hockey. He fought a hard battle with health issues for a long time but never complained and faced each day with a smile. Special thanks to the staff at the Dialysis Unit at James Payton Memorial Hospital, who cared for Tony extensively for the past few years.
