It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Ira Rogers on June 2, 2025, at the age of 83. This sudden loss leaves the family deeply saddened.

Ira is predeceased by his treasured daughter Paula, his parents Samuel and Flossie Rogers, Parents in law Millicent and Carlet Smith, brothers Ralph (Lily), Walter (Annie), sisters Louise (Fred), Hilda (Scott), Edna, and Joan.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years Golda, sons Shawn (Donna), Sheldon (Jill), Terry (Rose), Jared (Jane) and son-in-law Randy. He was a dear brother to Phyllis (Charlie), Florence (Clarence) and brother-in-law to Melvin, Brad (Helen) Ruth (Jack) and Lloyd (Phyllis). Ira was a cherished Pop to grandchildren Robyn (Brent), Janine (Tristan), Kate, Aaron (Keshia), Sam (Jenna), Olivia (Morgan), Damien, Ian (Keely), Ryan and Tristan. He also leaves great grandchildren Millie, Jack, Ryerson, Samuel, Wrenly, and Brin. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ira was a kind and quiet man of faith who loved his family dearly. He was quick with a joke and enjoyed making people laugh. His kind and helpful ways will be missed by all who knew him.
