It is with shattered hearts the family of Melanie announce her unexpected passing at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on July 24, 2025.

She is predeceased by: brother Christopher and grandparents Maxwell and Selena Anstey.

Left to mourn her passing are: her partner Tyler; parents Arlene and Terry; brothers Shane (Brittany) and Devin (Jennilee); grandparents Alonzo and Bertha; as well as a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, Tyler’s family, and the many friends she made throughout her lifetime. Melanie also leaves her fur babies: Timber, Archie, Luna and Buddy.

Special thanks to the Doctors and nursing staff of the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Hospital, James Paton Memorial Hospital and St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital who took care of Melanie.

Resting at the Salem Pentecostal Church in Cottlesville with public visitation to take place on Tuesday, July 29th from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from the church on Wednesday, July 30th at 1pm with Pastor Russell Porter officiating.
