It is with great sadness that the family of Hoover Brown announce his passing on October 18, 2025, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate at the age of 90.

Hoover is predeceased by his parents Herbert and Elizabeth; wife Doris; granddaughter Pam; brothers: Harold )Irene), Eric (Lillian) and Aubrey (Myrtle) and sister Florence (William).

Left with fond and loving memories are his sons Bruce and Jim (Karen); grandsons Terry (and his mother Ann) and Jeffrey (Nicole); great-grandchildren: Carter, Jordan, Ashley, Jayden, Jaron, Jessa (sis); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff and residents of Sunset Manor who took such wonderful care of dad and became his extended family. As well as the doctors and nursing staff at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre who took care of dad in his last days.
