It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Pelley announce her passing on November 2nd, 2025, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre at the age of 67.

Gloria was born in Twillingate, NL. She married her husband Lloyd in 1979 and together they raised two children: son Darryl and daughter Vanessa.

Gloria spent her life in the service and care of others as a LPN, where she touched the lives of many of her patients and her co-workers.

Gloria was a woman of faith and a devout Christian who worshiped her Lord and Saviour. She was an active member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church. It was her faith in God that brought her through her cancer diagnosis in 2022.

Gloria is predeceased by her father George Pride and her parents in law, Harvey and Vera Pelley.

Left to mourn with loving memories are her husband of 46 years, Lloyd, her son Darryl, her daughter Vanessa; mother Margaret Pride; sisters Patsy and MaryLynn; sister-in-law Marina (Jeff), brother in laws Larry (Madeline), Freeman (Judy), nephews, Denver Tristan, Travis, Micheal and Matthew, nieces Courtney and Michelle, and Gloria’s two honorary granddaughters Heather Stewart and Samantha Sweetapple.

The family would like to extend their great appreciation to all who provided exceptional care to Gloria along her journey. Special thanks to Dr. Petten, Dr. Diamond and the staff at NDBMHC, JPM and HSC.
