It is with deep sadness that the family of Bernetta Dorothy Rideout announce her passing on December 20, 2025, at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls Winsor, NL at the age of 84.

Bernetta is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Clara White, and her son Arthur.

Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Douglas of 69 years, her children Audrey (Carson), Eleanor (Gary), Peter (Bonnie), Keith, and her daughter in law Hazel (Gilbert), her grandchildren Dion (Jenelle), Deanne, David (Meghan), Terry (Kim), Christa (Gregory), Christine (Scott), Morgan, Cobi, and Noah, her great grandchildren Linea, Jehona, Elijah, Claire, Landon, Ayla, Charlotte, Gracie, Avery, Quinn, and Lydia as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donations in Bernetta’s memory may be given to The Salvation Army Women’s Ministries, Twillingate Bayview Corp.
