Bert Lewis Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Bert Walter Lewis announce his passing on January 30, 2026, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL, at the age of 78.
Bert was predeceased by his parents, John and Annie Lewis; sister Norma; parents-in-law, Phillip and Emily Nichol; and brother-in-law Norman Jessop.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 54 years, Marie, his children Cory (Stacey), Colleen (Jason), Cathy (Darrell); his grandchildren Jagger, Felicia, Fayth, Gia and Hope; brothers Howard (Roseann), Jim (Joan), Calvin (Goldie), Donna (Roland) and Phoebe Joyce as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre while he was a patient there.
In keeping with Bert’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place.
