It is with much sadness that the family of Hubert George Weir announce his passing on February 18, 2026, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate, NL at the age of 81.

Hubert was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Lucy Weir, sister Marion Weir, and brother-in-law Fred Benard.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 57 years Brenda, and his children Kenneth Weir and Kimberly Weir, sisters Mildred Bernard, Shirley (Lorne) Stone, and Greta Weir, as well as the family fur babies Friskee and Buddy.

At this time cremation has taken place.
