It is with deep sadness that the family of Carl Allen Jenkins announce his passing on February 26, 2026, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate, NL, at the age of 86.

Carl was predeceased by his parents, Hebert & Lydia Jenkins; his first wife Rose and second wife Lucy, his sisters Loretta (Allan) and Ruby (Gordon); and his brother Roy Jenkins, brother-in-law Harold Nippard, and niece Susan Nippard.

He leaves to mourn his loving children Karen (Dean), Cordell (Deanne) and Jody (Cindy), his grandchildren Kelsei (Andrew), Todd (Melody), Brad (Brittany), Carter (Reegan), Max (Alexis), and his only great grandson George, his sister-in-law Shirley Jenkins, Elizabeth Ann Nippard, brother-in-law Allister (Irene) Dalley, nieces Marilyn, Carolyn, Shelia, Wanda Lee, nephews Glenn and Bruce as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Our father was the heart of our family and a pillar of his community. A devoted husband and a loving, steady presence in our lives, he gave his time generously as a volunteer, always ready to lend a hand where it was needed most. He was known for his kindness, his gentle strength, and the deep respect he showed to everyone he met. His caring nature and unwavering dedication to both his family and community leave a legacy that will live on in all who were blessed to know him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Carl’s Home Care Workers for their compassionate, support and for the loving care they provided.
