It is with deep sadness that the family of Bernice Helen Froude announce her passing on February 27, 2026, at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, NL at the age of 80.

Bernice was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Gladys Warren, her husband Ernest, and her son Owen, brothers Cecil, Clayton, Eric and her sister Joyce, parents-in-law Frank and Alma, and brother-in-law Malcolm.

She leaves with fond and loving memories her children Eric (Pat), Rodney, daughter-in-law Sue, her grandchildren Hailey and Hunter, sisters-in-law Patsy, Lucy, Olive (Bruce), brother-in-law Gordon (Joan), Harold (Barb), as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Special friends Shirley S. and Queen P. and her furry baby kitty Bella.

A sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of North Haven Manor and Kingsway Living, Lewisporte, Lakeside Home, and James Paton Memorial Health Center, Gander while she resided there. We also wish to thank her home care workers over the years, Shirley, Lorie, Barb, Sherry and Mabel for all that they have done for her while she lived at home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bernice’s memory to the Parkinsons Society Newfoundland and Labrador.
