Randy Glen Elliott Obituary
It is with much sadness that the family of Randy Glen Elliott announce his passing on March 18, 2026, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate, NL at the age of 63.
Randy was predeceased by his parents Hubert and Maisie Elliott, and his brothers Tony and Dean.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his partner Marilyn of 41 years, his daughters Amber (Ceasar), and Christa; his grandchildren Marley, Jade, and Nicholas, and his brother Colin (Lisa), as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Randy loved keeping Newfoundland’s heritage strong, he had a deep connection to nature as he told stories with pride of being out to sea or hunting in the woods. He strongly admired the sunsets, moonlight nights, and sunny hard working days preparing fishing nets. Passionate in providing and nurturing for his family from the wild, he wanted to build a home with the best ocean view, he was very creative, he drew his dream and made it happen.
From a young age his love for hockey developed and his athletic ability couldn’t go unnoticed; his father was his coach and inspired him. His love for the game of hockey was great, whether as Captain of the team or just by scoring goals for the team.
Randy’s desire to help others, his genuine opinions, and last but not least, his belly filled laughs will be cherished in out hearts forever.
“I am a Fisherman, just like my father before me…”
