It is with much sadness that the family of Edwin “Roy” Hopkins, age 91, announce his passing on April 26, 2026, at his home with his beloved wife Jane of 66 years at his side.

Roy is predeceased by his parents Maxwell and Olive Hopkins, his beloved grandson Robert Oake, sister Joan, brother Loxley, his brother-in-law and great friend Hardy Roberts.

Roy leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Jane, his children Patsy (Wayne) and Lee (Melanie); his grandchildren Megan (Tanner), Kyle, Tyler, and Rylie, his great grandchildren Holden, William, Julian and his great great grandchild Noah, his sister Joyce (Ralph), Irene (Allister), and his brother Hardy (Rita) and sister in law Nina as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dad’s Homecare Workers Maxine Boone, Natasha Sansome, and Michelle Lewis for their care, kindness and hospitality over the past 2 years
