Obituary of Hubert John Waterman

Passed peacefully away, Hubert John Waterman, aged 102 years, on October 18th, 2015. He was predeceased by: wife Annie; daughters: Lillian and Betty; grandsons: Howard Rideout and Jeffery Lunnen; and great grandson Rory Elliott. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, children: Audrey (Douglas) Simms, Neta (Martin) Rideout, Raymond (Edna), Calvin (Ruth), John (Ruth), Gladys (Herman) Crewe, Eric (Ruth), Ruth (Harvey) Lunnen, Harold (Beatrice), and Wayne (Linda); 29 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and brother Cyril; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. The funeral was held on Wednesday, October 21st at 2:30 PM from the Central United Church, Twillingate, Rev. George Stockley officiating. Interment followed at the United Cemetery, Durrell. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Hubert's memory to the Central United Church Sunday School Program or Durrell United Cemetery Fund.
