Obituary of Clarence Oxford

Passed peacefully away, Thursday, November 19th, Clarence Willis Oxford, at the age of 90 years. He was predeceased by: parents Bennett & Elsie; sisters: Annie (Raymond) Jones and Winnie (Valentine) Jones; brother Harry; and daughter in law Pauline. Clarence leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: wife Lily; sons: Robert and David (Michelle); grandchildren: Holly (Gary), Alyson (Adam), Phillip (Judy), and Jared (Jenna); great grandchildren: Bennett, Emmeline, and Tyler; and sisters: Joyce (Cyril) Rideout and Evelyn Mutford; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre for all of their support and care during Clarence’s time there. Visitation will be held on Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. The funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2:00 PM from the Pentecostal Church, Twillingate, Pastor Laun Brushett officiating. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Ragged Point.
