Obituary of Ralph Chipman

Passed away Saturday, December 5th, Ralph H. Chipman, at the age of 87 years. Ralph was predeceased by: parents Nathanial and Annie; wife Madge Anstey; brothers Ernie Chipman and Ben Elliott; and sister Hazel Pelley. Ralph leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories: loving companion for over 25 years, Violet; children: Douglas (Ruby) and John (Karen); grandchildren: Stephanie (Matthew) Lewis, Amy, Stephen and Susan; great grandchild: Adrian; brother Raymond (Madge) Chipman. Ralph was also blessed to have been a father and grandfather to Violet's children: Inez (Eli), Dan (Kathleen), Ivan (Carolyn), Peter (Pam) and Joyce (Richard); Violet's grandchildren: Erica, Megan, Abbigail, Victoria, Cameron, Trevor, Zachery, Bethany, Allison, Timothy, Ben, Andrew, Nathan, and Miriam; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 AM from St. Peter's Anglican Church, with Rev. Joanne Mercer officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Peter's Anglican cemetery, Twillingate. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Ralph's memory may be made to Twillingate Volunteer Fire Department. No flowers by request.
