Obituary of Bernice Walsh

Passed peacefully away, Saturday, May 14th, Bernice Walsh, at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by: husband Walter; sister Laura; and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Left to mourn with loving memories of a long and well lived life are: children: Joan (Renold) Clarke, Harry (Grace), Lloyd (Kayla), Roy (Christine), and Wayne (Cheryl); thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild to be born in the fall; brothers: Harold and Wilson (Madeline); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 17th, 2-4 & 7-9 PM from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at 2:00 PM from the New World Island East Central United Church, Rev. Paula Gale officiating. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery, Cobb's Arm. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Bernice's memory may be made to the Cobb's Arm United Cemetery Fund.
