Obituary of George E. Pride

Passed away on May 25, 2016, George E. Pride, aged 82 of Twillingate, NL. Predeceased by his parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. He leaves with fond and loving memories: wife of 58 years Margaret; daughters: Gloria (Lloyd) Pelley, Patsy (Blaine) Gidge, Marylynn Pride; grandchildren: Darryl, Vanessa, Denver, Courtney (Grant Strong); sisters: Joyce (Wilson) Randell, Bernice (Ron) Butterley, Katherine (Kirk) Bramham, Violet (Pratt) Sacrey, Pansy (Frank) Rideout, Christine (Morris) Norman; brother Bob (Clemmie) Cooper, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 28 at 2pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Twillingate. Majors Lyndon and Lisa Hale officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George’s name to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund or the Twillingate Lions Club.
