Our hearts go out to everyone that knew and loved Irene. How could you not love such a wonderful, caring person ? What can we say about this amazing woman....so much!!! The best blackberry/crowberry pudding that was ever made and the the drive from Ontario to Gillards Cove was so worth it to get some ! The socks, hats, afghans,quilts, christmas ornaments, just to name a few of the amazing creations she was capable of and which gave so much enjoyment in the making and the giving to her!!! Never at a loss for words, she would entertain us with the stories of mummering and customs long forgotten. Her humour and laughter could brighten even the darkest day. Our Memories of picking up chinese food, her favourite and visiting her will last a lifetime!!!! We know she dancing with the angels, arm in arm with the ones she loves as we loved her. She will be missed but never, ever forgotten.
