Obituary of Julia May Smart

Passed away on June 12, 2016, Julia May Smart, aged 77 of Herring Neck, NL. Predeceased by her parents; son Craig and infant sister Frances. She leaves with fond and loving memories her spouse of 57 years Roland Smart; children: Beverly (Hayward) Simms, Sharon (Donald) Powell, Terry (Paulette) Smart and Roxanne (Anthony) Gillard, daughter-in-law Christine Burt; grandchildren: Shawn Simms, Sheldon Simms, Natasha (Cyril) Aylward, Nicholas (Sue-Lynn) Powell, Melanie (Andrew) Rideout, Megan (Greg Coates) Smart, Joshua Smart, Marcus Gillard, Tamara Gillard, Steven Smart and Scott Smart; great grandchildren: Abbygale, Scarlett, Nolan, Ainsley, Hannah and Kristopher; sisters: Phyllis (Frank) Moss and Joan (Glenn) Hooper; brothers: Winston (Wavey) Cutler and Wilfred (Lorraine) Cutler; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Julia was an active and faithfull member of the St. Mary's Anglican Church including the Anglican Church Women and the choir. Visitation will be held on Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 14th at 2:00 pm from the St. Mary's Anglican Church, Herring Neck. Reverend Joanne Mercer officiating.
