Obituary of Lily R. Oxford

Passed away on July 14, 2016, Lily Oxford, aged 90 of Twillingate, NL. She was predeceased by: parents Joseph and Emma Gleason; husband Clarence; daughter-in-law pauline; sisters: Flossie, Winnie, Violet and Hettie; and brother Raymond. Lily leaves with fond and loving memories: sons: Robert and David (Michelle); Grandchildren: Phillip, Jared (Jenna), Holly (Gary), Alyson (Adam); great grandchildren: Bennett and Emmeline; sister-in-law Gladys Gleason; as well as a large circle of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert and David would like to express sincere gratitude to the home support workers who cared for their mom over the last few months, she loved you dearly. Also, thank you is extended to the doctors and staff at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre who cared for her in the last few weeks of the life. Visitation will be held on Saturday 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, July 17 at 2pm from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Twillingate, Pastor Laun Brushett officiating. Lily was faithful to her lord and savior, as expressions of sympathy donations in her memory may be made to the Calvary Pentecostal church.
