Obituary of Evelyn Chipman

Passed away on October 21, 2016, Evelyn "Lyn" Louisa Chipman, aged 71 of Twillingate, NL. Lyn was predeceased by: parents Charles and Margaret Brohm; brother Lorne. Lyn leaves with fond and loving memories: for over 45 years, husband Wilmore; children: Angie (Brian) Blake and Jason (Jill Mitchell); grandchildren: Brianna, Quinn, Allison and Ashley; great grandchild Avery; brothers: Edward, Cecil, Mervin, Clayton (Barbara Thomas) and Donald (Margaret); as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lyn was a faithful member of the Canadian Red Cross as well as a volunteer with the Canadian Blood Services. Lyn loved her grandchildren and she treasured every moment she spent with them. Her favorite time of year was now, she enjoyed the changing colors on the trees and seeing the true beauty of the season. So the next time you see an autumn leaf fall from a tree, take a moment to remember Lynn, a memory to hold in your heart. Visitation will be held on Monday 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 25 at 2pm from the Central United Church, Twillingate. Rev. George Stockley officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations made be given to the family, a charity will be decided at a later date.
