Obituary of Maxwell Greenham

Passed away on December 6, 2016, Maxwell Greenham, aged 94 of Twillingate, NL. Max was predeceased by: parents Donnelly and Carrie (Baggs) Greenham; first wife Evelyn; second wife Violet; son Donnelly; daughter Joan; great-granddaughter Brook-Lyn Legge; son-in-law James Vincent; sisters: Sadie Roberts, Pansy Inder, Evelyn Randell, Shirley Greenham, Elsie Greenham and Blanche Watkins; brothers: Reginald Greenham, Ross Greenham and infant twins. Max leaves with fond and loving memories: children: Betty (Jim Smith) Verge, Doreen Vincent, Ernest Gillard, Stephen (Christine) Greenham, Helen (Brian) Hopkins, Cordella (Gary) Rogers and Josephine (Wayne Blandford) Greenham; grandchildren: Jason (Meredith), Peter (Tina)Eric (Evelena), Lee (Sonya), Jordon (Kimberly), Sheryl (Terry), Sheldon (Jessica), Stacey, Renee, Tommy (Jennifer), Shannon (Adrienne), Nathan (Samantha), Teri-Lyn (Boyd) and Dominique (Jordon); great-grandchildren: Lekeisha, Aiden, Ray-Lyn, Hailey, Logan, Max, Samuel, Evan, Jayden and Kerrigan; brother Ellison (Ruth) Greenham; sister-in-law Marilyn Gleason ; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Max became a Salvation Army Soldier at the age of 18 and he has been praising the Lord ever sense. Over the years he has been involved in many aspects of his church including play the drum and up lifting testimonials. The Greenham family would like to say a very special thank you to Max’s home care workers, Pamela Stuckless and Marie Price who have went above and beyond to help over the past few months. They would also like to say thank you to Audrey Gillard, Levita Burt, Audrey Gillard, Marilyn Gleason and Laura-Ann Gillard for their care and support over the past few years. Visitation will be held on Friday 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Bayview. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 10, at 2pm from the Citadel, Bayview. Captains Raymond and Denise Saunders officiating. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be given to the family.
