Obituary of Joan Clarke

Passed away on December 8, 2016, Joan M. J. Clarke, aged 79 of Twillingate, NL. Joan was predeceased by: parents Augustus and Ida (Simms) Churchill; brothers William and James Churchill; sister Elizabeth Anstey; brothers-in-law: Boyce Sacrey and Gunther Prodohi. Joan leaves with fond and loving memories: husband Martin for over 60 years, children: John, Bonnie (John) Warrick, Daphne (Randy Sceviour) Clarke, Danny (Loretta), Rex (Sharon Jesso); grandchildren: Jamie (Danielle), Courtney, Chantale (Malcolm), Stephanie (Trevor), Danielle (Kirk), Jonathan (April) and Easton; great-grandchildren: Reid, Rylan, Ethan, Chloe, Keigan and Addison; brothers: Roland Churchill and Tom Lever; sisters: Eleanor Sacrey, Phyllis (Sidney) Sacrey, Margaret (Edgar) Burton, Audrey Prodohi ; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, December 11, at 2pm from the funeral home. Captains Raymond and Denise Saunders officiating. As expressions of sympathy, In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Twillingate Volunteer Fire Department.
