Obituary of Sadie Rogers

Passed away Tuesday, March 1st, at the age of 81 years, Sadie Rogers (nee: Dove), of Durrell, NL. She was predeceasd by: husband Reginald; infant twin boys Ricky and Randy; son Terrance; mother Pearl Dove; and brother Harry Dove. Sadie leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories: children: Walter (Dale), Junior (Ruth), Scott (Gay), Lorne (Kim), and Jason (Patti); daughters-in-law Linda and Joan; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Phoebe Rogers; and brother-in-law Ronald Watkins; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Visitation will take place Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 PM from Central United Church, Twillingate. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery, Durrell. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Sadie's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Central United Church.
