Obituary of Locksley G. Hopkins
Passed away on March 30, 2017 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate, Locksley G. Hopkins, aged 85 of Kettle Cove, Twillingate,NL. Locksley was pre-deceased by: wife Annie Joyce; parents Maxwell and Olive Hopkins; daughters: Marie Legge and Daphne Roberts; sister Joan Hopkins; and sister-in-law evelyn Hopkins
Locksley leaves with loving memories: daughters: Bonnie Blandford her partner (Howard Gillard) and Shirley (Jack) Brown; sons: Alvin (Ruth), Glen his partner (Linda Colotti) and Dean his partner (Nancy Ivany); grandchildren: Brent (Crystal), Paula, Michelle her partner (Mike), Joey (Delynn), Cory (Michelle), Corinne (Micheal), Neal (Kim), Ryan, Stephanie (John), Ashlee (William), Kelsey, Kyle, Sherry (Nicolas), Holly (Preston), Jordan and Brandon (Jasmine); great grandchildren: Stacey, Miranda, Sabrina, Tostin, Lexi, Liam, Mollie, Andel, Jayden, Jersie, Alexander, Sarah and Max; great great grandchildren: Kobe, Kylee, Karley and Carson; brothers: Roy (Jean) Hopkins and Hardy Hopkins; sisters: Joyce (Ralph) Jenkins and Irene (Allister) Dalley; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Hopkins family would also like to express a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center for the loving care provided to Locksley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, April 5 at 2pm from the Isles Funeral Home Twillingate, Rev. George Stockley officiating. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Little Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donationsmay be given to the United Cemetery, Little Harbour.
