Obituary of Melvin C. Grimes

Passed away on April 8, 2017, Melvin C. Grimes, aged 78 of Twillingate, NL. Melvin was predeceased by: parents Frank and Nora Grimes. He leaves with fond and loving memories: wife Frances; daughters: Tracy (Morgan) Baggs and Teresa (Justin) Dalley; grandchildren: Forrester, Fisher and Alannah; brother Llewellyn (Haida) Grimes; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, April 11, at 2pm from St. Peter’s Anglican Church Twillingate. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, Cobb’s Arm Road. Rev. Joanne Mercer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Hospital Pond Community Garden Corporation.
