Obituary of Ruby Brown

Passed away on May 2, 2017 Ruby Eileen Brown of Twillingate, NL. Ruby was predeceased by her parents; Alexander and Myra Ricketts, sisters: Minnie Randell and Gertrude Gale; brothers: Gus Ricketts, Walter Ricketts and Herman Ricketts. Ruby leaves with fond and loving memories her husband George for over 52 years and her daughter Mary-Lynn (Glen) Card; grandchild Vanessa (Andrew) Tibbo; great grandchild Olivia; sisters: Josie (Brian) Pollard, Patsey (Roy) Toope, Rosie (Kyarn) Johnson; brothers: Derick (Doug) Ricketts, Brian Ricketts, Gilbert Ricketts, Ned Ricketts, Winston (Thelma) Ricketts, David (Juanita) Ricketts, Morris (Sadie) Ricketts, Allan (Rosie) Ricketts, Wayne Ricketts, Clayton (Marilyn) Ricketts, Francis (Rebbecca) Ricketts; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Ruby was a very dedicated member of the local breast cancer survivors group. She believed in the support that the group provided to both her and to others. Visitation will be held on Thursday afternoon, 2-4 and 7-9 pm from th Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Friday May 5, at 2pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Twillingate. Majors Lyndon and Lisa Hale officiating.
