Obituary of Mabel M. Boone

Passed away on May 13, 2017 Mabel Miriam Boone of Summerford, NL. She was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Rosalie Watkins; sister-in-law Eva Watkins; brothers-in-law: Bob King, Clayton Baker and John Byrne. Mabel leaves with fond and loving memories: husband Raymond for over 59 years; sons: Wayne (Maxine) and Glen; daughters: Catherine (David) Holloway, Peggy Boone, Maureen (Maurice) Potter, Netta (Galen) Anstey and Dallas (Rick) Carrigan; grandchildren: Dylan, Bradley, Scott (Vicky), Adam (Jennelle), Chad (Amanda), Jordan, Robert (Erica); great grandchildren: Nathan, Lincoln; brothers: Gerald Watkins, Hayward (Vera) Watkins, Lewis (Ruth) Watkins, Clayton (Madeline) Watkins and Ross (Christine) Watkins; sisters: Gladys King, Pearl Baker, Mary Byrne; close family friends Connie and Terry Saunders; home care worker Merina Troake; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mabel was very dedicated to her lord and savior. In her early years she was a Salvation Army officer until she retired and started her family with her husband Raymond by her side. Through the years she became a very dedicated member of the Pentecostal church in Summerford where her journey continued as a woman of faith. Visitation will be held on Wednesday afternoon, 2-4 and 7-9pm from the Pentecostal Church in Summerford. Funeral service to take place on Thursday May 18, at 2pm from the Pentecostal Church in Summerford. Pastor Baine Andrews officiating.
