Obituary of Barbara L. Burton

Passed away on May 16, Barbara Burton aged 97 of Twillingate, NL. She was predeceased by her husband Stewart Burton; daughter Margaret (John) Clarke; parents Joseph and Martha Fifield; brother Frank (Eula) Fifield; brother-in-law William Simms. Barbara leaves with fond and loving memories: sons: Roy (Betty) Burton and Junior (Faye) Burton; daughter Audrey (Colin) Grimes; grandchildren Sheila (Brian), Sharon (Paul), Shawn (Jodie), Shawn (Kim), Sharon (Shawn) David (Brenda), Jonathan (Charlene); great grandchildren: Jeffery (Michelle), Jamie (Kaitlyn), Danielle (Anthony), Cameron, Joshua, Joey, Madison, Joshua (Sarah), Jeremy, Bradley, Alyssa; great great grandchild Sawyer; sister Edna Simms well as a circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Friday May 19, at 2pm from Central United Church, Twillingate. Beverly Hamlyn officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in Lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the United Church Women.
