Obituary of E. Grace White

Passed peacefully away on September 2, 2017 at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander surrounded by her loving family, Edna Grace White of Twillingate, aged 94 years. Grace was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd, parents Martin and Lucy Rideout of Back Harbour and Sister Mabel. She will be fondly and lovingly remembered by her children; Marion (Everett) Cross, Gary (Betty) White, Helen (Ian) Dawson; her grandchildren, Susan (Karl) Vokey, David (Kelly) Cross, Byron (Jenna) White, Drew Dawson; great-grandchildren, Ryan Vokey, Mark Vokey, Kalley Cross, Dylan Cross, Jasmine Cross, Gabrielle White, Isabelle White; sister Hazel Pargeter ; brother Martin (Neta) Rideout; brother-in-law, Thomas (Audrey) White; sisters-in-law, Laurinda, Mary, Louise, Viola, Alma; her new family at the Golden Years Estates , Gander, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Grace was a devoted wife, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put the wellbeing of her family before herself. Throughout her lifetime, she was a very active volunteer in her church as well as the community. Resting at the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate with visitation on Sunday, September 3rd from 2- 4 pm, 7- 9 pm and Monday from 11 am - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, September 4th at 2pm from Central United Church, Twillingate. Donations in Grace’s memory can be made to the Durrell United Church Cemetery Fund.
