Obituary of Edna E. Simms

Passed away on Oct. 18, 2017 Edna Elizabeth Simms of Twillingate, NL. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Martha Fifield; husband William; children: Harold, Queen (John) Tremblay & Allan; brother Frank (Eula) Fifield; sister Barbara (Steward) Burton; son-in-law Don Dyson. Edna leaves with loving memories; children: Ruth, Shirley (Ed) Lemont & Leonard (Shirley); grandchildren: Barry (Shirley), Angela (Kevin), Donna (Jerry), Linda, Debbie (John), Sandra, Paul (Allison), Tim (Nicole), Greg (Kathy), Stephen (Kelly), Lisa, Laurie (Hugh), Dianne, David (Jacqui), Donald (Tina), Jill (Mark) & Jeff (Sharon); 29 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; daughters-in-law Verna & Bernice; sister-in-law Nellie Simms Burry was very close to Edna and had daily conversations; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon, 2-4 and 7-9 pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service to take place on Sunday October 22, at 2 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Twillingate. Majors Lyndon and Lisa Hale officiating.
