Obituary of H. Hardy Locke

Passed peacefully away at Gander, NL, on November 12, 2017, Harris Hardy Locke, aged 82, formerly of Tizzard's Harbour. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Pearl Locke; wife, Myrtle; daughter, Daphne; infant baby Locke; sisters Rita (Arthur Lind), Rosa (Jim Jones), Ruth (Ernest Stuckless) and Florence (Bert Hancock); and brother Gilbert. Hardy leaves with loving memories his daughters Jackey Locke (Scott Cluney) and Shelley Watkins; his grandchildren Colton, Hailey and Jacob;his sister Mae (Gerald Penney); and sister-in-law Vera Locke; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, from 2-4 p.m. and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 1 p.m., United Church, Tizzard’s Harbour. Victor and Beverly Hamlyn officiating. Donations in Hardy’s memory may be given to the Tizzard’s Harbour United Church Repair Fund.
