Obituary of Ruby E. Cooper

Passed away in Twillingate at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Tuesday Jan. 23, 2018 Ruby E Cooper age 85 Years. Ruby was predeceased by her parents Fred & Louisa Smith; brother Bert (Alma) Smith; sister Norma Ruscone. She leaves with fond and loving memories her husband for more than 67 years Harry Jr.; daughters: Nancy (Bill) Budgell, Judy (Dexter) Kennell, Katherine Cooper; grandchildren: Stephen (Cindy), Christopher, and her special boy Scottie; great grandchild Christopher Jr.; brother-in-law Cesare Ruscone; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family would like to make special thanks to Valerie Hopkins & Carmelita Boyd her home support workers for over 2 years; sister-in-law Nina Cooper who was like a sister; doctors and nursing staff at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center home for their loving care and devotion to Ruby. Visitation will be held on Friday January 26, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at 1pm from the Central United Church, Twillingate. Rev. George Stockley officiating. Donations in honor of Ruby's memory may be given to the family for the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center long term care unit.
