Obituary of John W. Gillard

Passed away in Twillingate at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Friday Jan. 26, 2018 John W. Gillard age 95 Years. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Lydia; wife Amy; brothers: Pearce (Willie) & Ray; sisters: Marion Kennedy & Mabel Gillard. Left with loving and fond memories son Junior (Donna); daughter Goldie (David) White; grandchildren: Grant, Bradley (Katelyn), Shawn (Karen) & Shelley (Vince); great grandchildren: Kyle, Curtis, Alyssa & Luca; brothers: Gordon (Irene) & Douglas (Rita); sister-in-law Cleo Gillard; brother-in-law Maurice Kennedy; as well as a circle of niece’s nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 28, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral Service will be on Monday Jan. 29, 2018 at 1pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Rev. George Stockley officiating. Donations in honor of John’s memory may be given to the family for the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center long term care unit.
