Obituary of Elsie Hamlyn

Passed away at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Care Centre, Twillingate on Thursday March 15, 2018 Elsie E. Hamlyn age 87 years. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph & Jessie Mitchell; daughter Ruth; grandchild MollyAnn; brothers: Gilbert, Melvin, Albert, Harry, Eugene & Sidney; sister Ada Fisher; brother-in-law Austin. Elsie leaves with loving memories her husband Frank for over 68 years; daughters: Paula(Winslow) Burge & Linda Linfield (Wally); son Wayne (Marie); grandchildren: Michelle, Maria, Jennifer (Corey), Jordana (Taylor), Cory (Debbie), Terry (Valerie), Jerry (Lalena) & Jody (Amanda); great grandchildren; Devin, Jacob, Joey, Gabriel, Noah, Ava, Alicia, Victoria, Jeremy & Chantelle; great great grandchild Peyton; sisters: Ruby White, Joyce Scott & Louise (Junior) Flynn; brother Calvin (Ethel) Mitchell; sisters-in-law: Shirley, Jean, Faye & Audrey; brother-in-law Edward; home support workers who became an important part of Elsie & Franks life; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday March 17 from 2-4 & 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral Service will take place on Sunday March 18th, 2018 @ 2PM, from the Central United Church, Twillingate. Reverend George Stockley officiating. Interment will follow at the North Side United Church Cemetery, Twillingate. Donations may be made in Elsie’s memory to the North Side United Cemetery.
