Obituary of Madeline D Martin

Passed peacefully away on June 19, 2018 at home Madeline D. Martin age 85 of Twillingate, NL. She was predeceased by her parents Jonathan and Elizabeth Pippy; husband Gordon of over 63 years; brothers: Wilbur (Mary), Victor (Dollie) & Roy (Ruth); sister Mamie (Samuel); brothers-in-law Stanley Vineham & Larry Burton. Madeline leaves with fond and loving memories children: Wayne (Debbie), Elizabeth (Daniel) Short, Paul (Barbara Ann), Carolyn Neil, Debbie (Danny Canning) Goodwin, Michele (Brian Penny) Batstone; grandchildren: Roger, Randy, Sara (Josh), Holly (Josh), Jillian, Scott (Jessica), Daniel (Krystal), Katherine, Jeffery & Joshua; great grandchildren Jack, Dawson, Brooklyn, Addison & Niyah; sisters: Mildred Vineham & Margaret Burton; her cat and constant companion Tommy; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Isles funeral home, Twillingate. Funeral to be held at the Central United Church on Saturday June 23, 2018 at 2pm. Victor and Beverly Hamlyn officiating. Flowers gratefully accepted or donation in Madeline’s memory may be given to the Central United Church.
