Obituary of Dorothy Elizabeth Gidge

Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Twillingate, Dorothy E. Gidge, 95 years of age from Hillgrade, NL. She was predeceased by her parents: Samuel and Mary Wheeler; first husband Norman Ings and second husband Abel Gidge; step-children: Margaret Gidge and Harry Gidge; great grandchild Brodeau; siblings: Frederick (Eva) Wheeler, Alfreda (Arthur) Froude, Maggie (Garland) Jenkins and Martin (Gladys) Wheeler. She leaves with fond and loving memories children: Cassie (Edmund) George, Claude (Daphne Jenkins) Ings, Eric (Violet) Wheeler and step son Donald (Viola) Burge; grandchildren: Molly (Dave), Becky (John), Harley (Cara), Christopher, Marsha, Paige (Keon), Brock (Sherrilynn), step-grandchildren Jamie (Stacey) and Trina (Jody); great grandchildren: Jordan, Jasmine, Heidi, Nicholas, Marcus, Avery, Yzerman, Dillon, step great grandchildren: Bethany, Brandon, Tyler, Valerie and Erika; as well as large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 9th, 2-4 & 7-9pm, from the Pentecostal Church Hillgrade, NL. Funeral service to be held from the church, August 10, 2018 at 2pm Pastor Robert Thomas officiating. Donations may be made in Dorothy's name to a charity of ones choice.
