Obituary of Vera Mae Baggs

Passed peacefully away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Vera Mae Baggs aged 86 of Twillingate, NL. She was predeceased by her parents: Augustus and Pheobe Bridger; husband Carl; sisters: Annie-Belle and Bernice; brothers: Gordon (Dorothy) and Chesley. She leaves with fond and loving memories children: Donald (Ann), Margaret (Fred), Brian (Sharon), Jim and Roseanne (Eugene); grandchildren: Elvis (Tina), Mark (Krista), Matthew, Brent (Jessica), Josh, Alex and Kaitlyn; great grandchildren: Brendan, Olivia, Nicholas, Hope, Gracie, Soleil and Darcy; siblings: Wilson, Ned, Nina (Hardy), Lorretta, Hilda, Pansy and Bernice (Royburn); brother-in-law Selby; sister-in-law Heather; furry friends: Oakley, Diesel, Bauer and Tumbler the family pets; as well as large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday Sept. 20, 2-4 & 7-9pm, from Isles Funeral Home Twillingate, NL. Funeral service to be held Friday Sept. 21, 2 PM from the Salvation Army Citadel, Twillingate. Lieutenant’s Charlene & Keith Barrett officiating. Donations may be made in Mae’s memory to the palliative care unit of Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center.
