Obituary of Irene Horwood

Passed peacefully away on Saturday January 26, 2019 at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Irene Amelia Horwood age 81 of Twillingate, NL. She was predeceased by her parents: John and Lucy Anstey. She leaves with fond and loving memories: husband Eric of over 57 years; children: Roslynn (Grayson), Dana (Dennis) and Kent; grandchildren: Allison (Matt), Jenessa, Candace, Ryan, Brandon, Ava and Spencer; great grandchild Josie; siblings: Betty (Roy) Hodder, Wayne (Joyce) Anstey, Stella (Calvin) Ledrew, Lorraine (David) Warr, Linda (Harvey Card) Anstey. Visitation will be held on Monday Jan. 28, 2019 2-4 & 7-9pm from Isles Funeral Home Twillingate, NL. Funeral service to be held from the Central United Church, Twillingate Tuesday 1pm, Beverly Hamlyn officiating. Donations may be given in Irene’s memory to the Central Northeast Health Foundation for a Cuddle Bed in the Palliative Care unit,Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center.
