Obituary of Edna M. Whitehorne

Passed peacefully away on Friday March 8, 2019 at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre, Gander Edna M. Whitehorne, age 71 of Twillingate, NL. She was predeceased by husband George; parents Walter George and Winnie Greenham; sister Evelyn Hopkinsand sister-in-law Iris Greenham. She leaves with many memories: son Lloyd (Shelley); daughter Lisa (Michael); grandchildren: Julie, Stephen and Megan (Ben); brother Lloyd; sister Mona Card: brother-in-law Hardy Hopkins; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Keeping with Edna’s Wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from the Isles funeral home on Sunday 2-4pm followed by a memorial service, Beverly Hamlyn officiating. Donations may be given in Edna’s memory to the Central Northeast Health Foundation for a Cuddle Bed in the Palliative Care unit of the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center.
