My memories of Gladys are fond as we enjoyed dinners and wrestling on several occasions and her love of hymns that she tapped out on the organ and accordion. Her knitted creations were always a reminder on Christmas morning that she put a lot of love into her gifts from a talent she honed in Newfoundland. Her forever blonde hair proved just how much she respected herself and the way people perceived her, young, vibrant and strong! I was sad to hear of Mrs. Budgell's passing. She was a regular library patron and always brought a smile to my face when she showed up and asked with a smile if I had any Dolly Parton books. I will dearly miss her visits and my thoughts are with Roy and the family.
