Obituary of Thelma Osmond

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Thelma Osmond (nee Boyd) at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre on October 14th, 2019 at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by: husband Elmer; parents Almon Boyd & Hilda Smith; and brother Calvin. She leaves to mourn: daughter Dianne (Lorne); sons: Peter (Darlene) and Almon (Sandra); grandchildren: Stephen, Scott (Shelley), Ashlee (Trevor), Laura, Olivia, and Darrell (Jessica); and great grandchildren: Aidan and Brenden; and expected great grandchildren Ryan and Quinn; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM from the United Church, Tizzard’s Harbour. From where the funeral will also take place on Wednesday, October 16th at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery, Tizzard’s Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thelma’s memory may be made to the Tizzard’s Harbour United Church.
