Obituary of Marion Guy

Passed away, Thursday, October 31, 2019 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Marion Ivy Guy, at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by: husband Fred; parents Ralph and Stella Anstey; grandchildren: James, Joshua, and Jonathan; great granddaughter Destiny; sister Blanche Anstey; brothers: Burt Anstey, Ralph Anstey, and Roland Anstey; and brothers-in-law: Allan Sheppard, Harold Hillyard, and Lindy (Pat) Guy. She leaves to mourn with many precious memories: children: Florence (Ellison) Nicholas, Stella (Gary) Head, Elizabeth (Frank) Sheppard, Harry (Rowena) Guy, William (Jackie) Guy, and Jennifer Guy; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sisters: Georgina Sheppard, Geraldine (Selby) McKay, Olive Anstey, Lillian (Baxter) Chipp, and Annie Hillyard; brother Arthur (Gloria) Anstey; and sisters-in-law Winnifred Anstey, Eileen Anstey, and Mildred Thistle; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. The visitation will be held on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 4th, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Salvation Army Citadel, Twillingate. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Ragged Point.
