Obituary of Gladys Watkins

Passed away Friday, December 20th, 2019, Gladys Evelyn Watkins, of Herring Neck, at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by: parents Bennett and Kate Card; grandson Philip Watkins; great granddaughter Sadie Watkins; brother Bramwell (Gladys) Card; sister Mabel (Allan) Noel; and brother-in-law Nicholas Lombardo. Gladys leaves to mourn with many loving and precious memories: husband Harvey; children: Wilbert (Donna), Ruby (Harry) Stuckless, Wavie (Peter) Boehler, Judy (Derrick Mills) Watkins, and Kenneth (Audrey); grandchildren: Susan, Sabrina (Cliff), Crystal (Jack), Adam (Emma),Scott, Kendel (John), Quentin, Samantha, Sadie, and Emma; great grandchildren: Jada, Gracie, Madison, Jae-Ana, Jaxon, Griffin, and Paisley; and sister-in-law Effie Lombardo; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday 7-9 PM from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd at 11:00 AM from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Salt Harbour.
