Obituary of Bernice W. Boyde

Passed peacefully away on at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre on January 9, 2020, Bernice Winnie Boyde, aged 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband Roland; daughter Kathleen(Milton Layte); parents: Frank and Hilda Young; sisters: Hazel (Harris) Hamlyn and Ruth Squires; brothers: Cyril, Winston (Leona) and Walter (Joyce); and brother-in-law Malcolm sharpe. Bernice leaves with many fond and loving memories: children: Woodrow (Maxine), Emma (Melvin), Edward (Susie), Juanita, Yvonne (Hardy), Claude (Alvina), Wilson (Valerie), Calvin(Carolyn), Madge (Don), Terry (Shelley) and Irene (Ken); 28 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Muriel Sharpe and Una Dove; sister-in-law Blanche Brenton; brother-in-law George Squires; as well as large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm, from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate, NL. Funeral service to be held on Monday January 13, at 11:00 am from the Salvation Army Citadel, Twillingate with Lieutenants Keith and Charlene Barrett officiating. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Bernice’s honor may be given to the Salvation Army Meals on wheels.
