Obituary of Frank A. Hamlyn

Passed peacefully away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Hospital on Saturday- March 7, 2020, Franklin Abel Hamlyn age 94 of Twillingate, NL. Frank was predeceased by parents Arthur and Delilah Hamlyn; wife Elsie; daughter Ruth; granddaughter MollyAnn; brothers: Edwin (Rita), Albert, Harry, and Waldo; sister Marie (Young); brothers-in-law: Harvey Lambert, Mark Burton, Herb Young, and Richard LeClerc; sister-in-law Delphine. He leaves with fond memories: daughters: Paula(Winslow) Burge & Linda Linfield (Wally); son Wayne (Marie); grandchildren: Michelle, Maria, Jennifer (Corey), Jordana (Taylor), Cory (Debbie), Terry (Valerie), Jerry (Lalena) & Jody ; great grandchildren; Devin, Jacob, Joey, Gabriel, Noah, Ava, Alicia, Victoria, Jeremy, Chantelle & Freya; great great grandchildren Peyton & Penelope; brothers: Wilson (Rebecca) and Johnny (Geraldine); sisters: Ruth, May, Jean and Shirley; brother-in-law Alan; sisters-in-law: Alberta, Geraldine and Eleanor; as well as a large circle of nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th 2020 at 1pm from the Central United Church, Twillingate, Rev. George Stockley officiating.
