Obituary of Gordon A. Burton

Passed away, Monday, April 13th, Gordon A. Burton, at the age of 88 years. He was predeceased by: parents John and Lucinda Burton; sister Edna Reid; brothers Mark Burton and Larry Burton; brother-in-law Eli Reid; sisters-in-law Dorothy Burton and Lily Burton. Gordon leaves with fond and loving memories: wife Ruby; son Bruce (Marguerite); daughter Sheila (Gary) Guy; grandchildren: Rene (Dan), Corinne (Paul), Robert (Krista), David (Sarah); great-grandchildren: Zoe, Cameron, Myles, Ashton, Lilliana and Conor; sisters-in-law Ruth Burton and Margie Burton;as well as a circle of extended relatives and friends. In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family burial at the United Church Cemetery, Durrell. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Twillingate Volunteer Fire Department or United Church Cemetery, Durrell. We strongly encourage you to express your sympathy and support to the family however we are asking you to consider alternative ways verses visiting the funeral home or attending the funeral service.
