Obituary of Minnie Cooper
Passed peacefully away on Sunday May 24, 2020 at Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center, Minnie Cooper, aged 83 years of Twillingate, NL. She was predeceased by parents: Abner and Louise Dove; husband Clayton; daughter Ruth Dove; brothers: Lionel Dove, Hayward (Cora) Dove and Harold (Minnie) Dove; and sister Gladys Tulk.
Minnie leaves with fond and loving memories: children: Donnie (Michelle), Paul (Welma) and Patty (Keith); grandchildren: Joshua, Genevieve (Chad), Holly (Brandon) and Stephanie; great-grandchildren: Tyson, Kate and Sierra; son-in-law Hardy Dove; sister-in-law Susie Dove as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority. At this time, there will be a private family funeral with burial at the United Church Cemetery, North Side. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be given in Minnie’s honor to "the Gathering Place" in St. John’s.
We strongly encourage you to express your sympathy and support to the family however we are asking you to consider alternative ways verses visiting the funeral home or attending the funeral service. Together as a community, we must all do our part to make a difference and help families feel safe but supported during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
